Thank you very much for joining me on the 30-day challenge Get Organized! Sorting Out the Clutter for a Streamlined Life. It has been an honor to meet with you daily and share my tips and tricks for conquering the clutter.
We tackled the issue from many angles:
* On day three, we looked at the psychological effects of clutter
Being Organized is a Mindset
* On day ten, we brought the family into the mix and shared tips to help them prep for
their day 3 Tips to Prep Your Family for the Day
* On day fifteen, we took things down to a manageable pace – one room, one week at a
time: How to Organize Your Home
* On day twenty-three, we even discussed the safety benefits of keeping your car
organized: How to Keep Your Car Organized for Safety’s Sake
* We wrapped things up with a reminder to celebrate the successes and remember to
show gratitude to those who are working alongside us to be more organized:
Celebrate Organization to Keep Motivated
the goal of this challenge
My goal has been to inspire you to take a look at why you aren’t as organized as you’d like to be, create tools to help you get organized, and cheer you on as you take action. I want to connect with you and hear your successes, funny stories, and anecdotes.
They help keep me inspired and motivated too. Plus, I always learn new and better ways to be more organized myself. Be sure to connect with me via the Facebook group or by email.
Here are some takeaways I want to leave you with:
Start small- If you feel overwhelmed or underwhelmed, start small. Take on one drawer, one closet, or one square foot of a room. Do what you can with what you have, and the inspiration will grow.
Purge!- Be willing to say goodbye to what no longer serves you, has use, or life. It’s a good thing to let things go. Watch out for those hoarding behaviors I shared on day eleven [insert link here].
Getting organized helps you reclaim your spirit and your pride- A lot of people who feel out of control regain their confidence when they get organized. It might seem easy to go with the flow or live an unstructured life, but you’ll be amazed at the pride and confidence that comes from getting things under control.
Thanks again for taking the challenge. I know you are going to enjoy your newfound clarity in your clutter-free, streamlined life!
