What photography MEANS TO ME . . .
“What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.”
— Karl Lagerfeld
As you already know, it’s not only the camera that takes the photos. The person behind the viewer is the one who enhances the photo that is produced. And this is done when you gather the confidence, I know you have and begin to use manual mode.
In doing so, you will have the power in your hand to produce portrait-like photos of your loved ones, the vacation of a lifetime you embark on or just beautiful surroundings around you that you never knew existed.
Just by following my lead, you will start looking at the world differently. By that I mean, your eyes will be open to the beauty of your surroundings. You will start looking at all that is around you and picture them in your viewfinder.
After reading about me, you have learned that photography and travel have been passions of mine since I was a young girl. But I was kinda hesitant to learn the manual mode. I thought it was going to be difficult. Too technical. I was never afraid to learn something new before.
Then the digital age came and I was tempted to get myself a better kind of digital camera. I was determined to learn everything there was to know about how to effectively use the beautiful gear that was created for us to enjoy. I am more than happy to share all my knowledge with all of you.
I want you to be able to produce beautiful portrait-like photography as I have. You will learn what to look for in every situation. You will gain that key sense of what to look for when photographing loved ones.
